Guidelines for Logo Uploading

Our Banaz.com.au design studio allows you to upload your company logo to your banner design, however, there are some rules you must adhere to so we may provide you with the best quality banner possible.

Colour

Please ensure that your logo is in CMYK colour mode, also, we strongly recommend that you use only solid 100% PANTONE colours.

Extra charges will appply for smaller percentages (eg 50% PANTONE 433) and gradients.

File Format

Our design studio requires vector files, currently we only accept EPS files, most programs allow you to export to EPS.

Bitmaps converted straight to EPS will not work, the file must be a vector file

you may, however, have bitmaps embedded in the EPS file, but they must adhere to the '500@10%' rules demonstrated in the 'Resolution for Bitmaps' section.

Resolution for Bitmaps

If your EPS file has any embedded bitmaps you must make sure they have a high enough resolution to be the best quality once printed, an easy way of doing this is using the '500@10%' rule.

For starters, find out what size banner you want and how big the bitmap will be on that banner.

Secondly, make the bitmap 500dpi at 10% of the size. So if your bitmap is 1000x1000mm on the banner make it 100x100mm at 500dpi and the quality should be fine.

File Naming

There are no reqiurements for filenames. You may name your file whatever you want.

How do I upload my image?

Our design studio has an 'upload' button that will take care of the uploading.
Once uploaded, you will be given a 'placeholder' object for your banner design, place this where you want your logo to go.

You can also resize the placeholder image to match the size of your logo so we know exactly where you want it and how big it will be.
